Tell us about yourself and why you are #HydraStrong? I yo-yo’d with my weight and struggled with self-confidence since I was 12 years old. I went through bouts of disordered eating before I found my love for training and nutrition. I am #HydraStrong because not only lost 45lbs to compete in my first competition. I also gained a new persona on the outside that I had been dying to portray. I hit a new peak of confidence that pushed me to step outside of every box society tried to put me in and has made me so fulfilled in all aspects of my life.
What are your hobbies, goals and what do you do in your free-time? I love yoga. It mends my body and my soul. I love to cook and express my creativity in the kitchen. I’m also a full time student studying civil engineering and running RagoFIT, my fitness coaching company. Those few things really take up a girl’s time.
What is your training routine? I am currently in contest prep and train 6 days/week. I hit legs 2x/week and every other muscle group separately. I hardly do any cardio training at the moment, which is just the way I like it!
What is your nutrition and supplement routine? Being on contest prep, my supplement routine and diet are much more regimented. Typically, when not in contest prep, I utilize IIFYM style dieting remaining around maintenance levels. As far as supplements, typically, I stick to preworkout and a pump matrix prior to workouts, BCAAs intraworkout, and whey isolates incorporated throughout the day. I also try to take Vitamins C, D, Iron, Calcium and a multivitamin daily.
